Quick bump: With legislators like these

Congress just passed a slew of bad legislation without constitutional authority. It continues to suggest itself as America's greatest enemy.

Quick bump: With legislators like these

On a single weekend in April, Congress passed a bill that authorized:

Where does Congress get the constitutional authority for any of these actions? The constitution doesn't give Congress the authority to bully companies, give wealth to foreign governments, or spy on Americans. In fact, warrantless spying is prohibited by the Fourth Amendment. So Congress isn't only operating outside its mandate. These legislators are actively violating their oath to "support and defend the Constitution".

With legislators like these, who needs enemies? They are hurling the United States into lawlessness, infighting, and bankruptcy. That would explain why 81% of Americans disapprove of the way Congress is handling its job. Americans are aware their greatest enemy may be their own Congress.
